Sharjah secured a temporary lead in the ADNOC Pro League after a resounding 4-0 win over Al Jazira at Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium in the third round of the league. This victory marked Sharjah’s third consecutive win, taking their points tally to 9, while Al Jazira remained on 3 points.
The match took an intense turn early on as Al Jazira’s Kébano received a red card in the 13th minute for a foul on Ousmane Camara, giving Sharjah a numerical advantage. Sharjah quickly capitalized on this, with Luan Pereira opening the scoring in the 21st minute, assisted by Caio Lucas.
Sharjah continued their dominance, and Firas Belarbi doubled the lead in the 30th minute, thanks to another assist from Caio Lucas. Just before halftime, Ousmane Camara added a third goal in stoppage time, putting Sharjah firmly in control.
