With this result, “The King” raised their tally to 44 points, holding second place and keeping the pressure on league leaders Shabab Al Ahli. Ajman, on the other hand, remained at 27 points in ninth place.
Sharjah’s goals were scored by Shahin Abdulrahman in the 39th minute, followed by Adel Taarabt in the 44th—his first goal for the club in the league this season.
