Sharjah Defeat Hatta 4-1 in ADNOC Pro League
In an exhilarating display of football prowess, Sharjah clinched a dominant 4-1 victory over Hatta in the tenth matchweek of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday, showcasing their skill and determination.
The game kicked into high gear in the 19th minute when Caio Lucas masterfully deceived the goalkeeper from the penalty spot, breaking the deadlock and giving Sharjah the lead. This season, Lucas has become a penalty specialist, with three of his seven goals coming from the spot.
As halftime approached, Ousmane Camara left the crowd in awe with a stunning bicycle kick four minutes before the break, doubling Sharjah’s lead and electrifying the atmosphere.
Sebastian Tagliabue, a key player in Sharjah’s attacking arsenal, then unleashed a powerful right-footed shot in the 45th minute, catapulting his team to a commanding 3-0 lead. Tagliabue, with an impressive tally of 210 goals in 227 caps, has been a cornerstone of Sharjah’s offensive strategy, contributing 183 goals and 27 assists.
For the first time since May 2022, Sharjah achieved the feat of scoring three away goals in the first half, mirroring their performance against Bani Yas.
Hatta’s persistence paid off seven minutes after the hour mark when Alexander Merkel skillfully finished, narrowing the gap and bringing the score to 3-1.
However, Camara wasn’t finished yet. He seized his second goal of the match with a powerful and precise strike from outside the box, sealing a resounding 4-1 victory for Sharjah.
