His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, praised the positive results at the level of all sports teams in the club, pointing to the series of victories achieved by the first football team, and the occupation of the Sunni stages teams in advanced positions in the ranking table. His Excellency also congratulated the management of team games at the distinguished level. Which is presented by the hand and basketball teams, which achieve achievements and championships in the name of the club, the last of which is the Super Youth Handball Championship. The Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed his happiness with the achievements and colorful medals achieved by the champions of individual games, and explained that the goal of the administration is to compete for all tournaments available for all sports.
This came in the periodic meeting of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, which was chaired by His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors at the club’s headquarters in Samnan, on Tuesday evening. Strong confrontations that lead them to the podiums, with a focus on performance and institutional work.
His Excellency also commended the public role and the positive imprint of loyal people towards supporting the club, whether on the stands or social networking sites, and stressed that the club continues the same approach and policy in supporting the fans and meeting their desires, and the Board of Directors is proud of these efforts and sincere work.
The meeting discussed several topics on the agenda, where the Board of Directors reviewed the financial and administrative report presented by His Excellency Sultan Al-Askar, Head of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, while His Excellency Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, Chairman of the Investment and Commercial Development Company at Sharjah Sports Club, reviewed the latest developments in investment projects and their follow-up, and the projects that have been completed. It was recently opened at the club’s headquarters in Semnan and Al-Hazana.
His Excellency Eng. Suleiman Al-Hajri, Head of the Individual Games Department, touched on the achievements of the management teams, the latest of which was the cyclist Saud Al-Marzouqi’s winning of the gold medal for the youth category and the yellow jersey at the Sharjah International Cycling Tour. He also discussed the list of rewards for individual games players.
The meeting dealt with the mechanism of attracting the masses to the stands and the initiatives for the upcoming confrontations in light of the recent update of the sports protocol regarding the mass attendance of sporting events.
